Bori Muy is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisation, Traditional Owner-led and based in Cairns. We deliver culturally safe programs and support that strengthen cultural knowledge, build social and emotional wellbeing, and create stronger, more connected families and communities.

Through mentoring, On-Country camps, boxing, after-hours engagement and cultural experiences, we help young people understand who they are and where they come from. That cultural grounding builds identity and belonging, and gives young people the foundation to form positive relationships and strong support networks.

When young people are connected to culture, community and Country, their confidence grows, their resilience strengthens, and their future opens up. We walk alongside them from engagement and mentoring through to education, training and real employment pathways.

The impact reaches beyond each young person to their families and community, creating lasting change for generations to come.
